Some details from the ROTENA report
The final meeting in the REAL project took place in Usak, Turkey there the leading partner University of Usak welcomed all partners to Ramada Hotel for a combination of meeting and conference.
The conclusion was that REAL as a project has been a success and that the outcomes in terms of a platform with videos and animated videos, providing knowledge of entrepreneurship and business to students, well meets the objectives in the project.

Besides a web research on existing training opportunities in the field, the partners conducted an online survey targeted to SMEs, individuals and training providers. The survey was completed by 150 persons representing all target groups. Some of the first findings can be highlighted as follows:

Jobs are disappearing - new jobs are created
Robots and 3D-printers are taking our traditional jobs - but Robots and 3D-printers also creates new opportunities for jobs. The Key for individuals is to have the competence in demand and for companies to find the competences they are looking for. In the ROTENA Project Facebook page you will find many many opportunities and jobs as well as threats by the new technology.
The fourth wave - a shift that will be noticed in the future history books
...if there are any books in the future? Or maybe you will be told a story by a Robot how the shifts occurred and what the changes where. No matter what it would look like - the ROTENA project will bring as a major result a curriculum that will give answers to how education will adopt to the disruptive changes in the nearest future. In 6 Modules with 8 Lessons in each the REAL project covers a spectrum of very inspiring and useful topics you need to keep in mind when you start planning for your future and your business.
The videos are translated and available in 8 different languages - with a subtitle text. As Business English is one of the Modules - you can off course benefit from watching all videos with English subtitles (and English Voice Over) to enhance your English business language - even as an experienced Entrepreneur or Business Coach.
The e-Front in the REAL-web-site lets you create an account and sign in to the lessons. The content of each lesson is Video Lessons and Animated Videos, PDFs with slides and for each module a quick test if you want to asses your new knowledge. You can view the videos and lessons in any order you want like "stand alone" and you can take all 48 as a course and training program.
In the Rotena project Press release, sent out in March, you can find the initial results of the survey - and the complete results will be shared in August 2017.
It is already now clear that the demand for news skills in staff is going to increase and the Educational institutions have a big challenge in creating matching courses.
From the press release: "In respect of both robotics and 3D printing, all respondents would clearly welcome educational institutions providing more knowledge and training opportunities on the topics. A majority of respondents are also willing to take such courses if available for free."
