#ICT4AE - ICT for Adult Education

Adult Education is a great area for digitalization - a great way to engage and motivate all kinds of learners and students. Not at least Smartphones can make a big difference in all kinds of subjects - like L2, learning a second language, culture, history, geography and many more.
In the ICT for Adult Education project a number of partners shares and collects experiences, tools, methodologies and tips on how to use the benefits of digitalisation in education and learning. Follow the project via the hashtag #ICT4AE in social media - and don´t hesitate to contribute with best practises and ideas.

On of the results will be a compendium of all the gathered materials from the project. Kick Off of the project was held by the coordinator CPIA Lecce region.

Continuous e-learning for Innovation in Tourism Management

Together with partners from Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain), Zaragosa (Spain), Lahti (Finland), Basilicata (Italy) and Sofia (Bulgaria) SMEBOX is representing Uppsala (Sweden) in the CEL4ITM project.
The project is focused on supporting non-formal education and transfer of experience and knowledge in the field of tourism.  Adopting blended learning and coaching and mentoring approaches by the means of open, innovative and easy-to-use digital tools.

TALENT 4.0 - Talent Management for the future of 4.0 jobs

Bridging the gap between VET and business: talent management 4.0 for SMEs in Europe
The approach of talent management is in fact not really new in Europe, however, on the one hand it has so far not at all really entered the strategic and corporate training and development level of companies (especially SMEs) and on the other hand does not at all make use of potentials of
digitalisation at all.

European companies do hardly use active talent management in their human resources policies at least not on a strategic level, however, the term “war for talents” is ubiquitous.

The main aims of this strategic partnership project are:

1) Implementation of an investigative research about existing and emerging tools (offline and online) about talent management with special focus on SME needs and web 4.0 as well as trends/methods of modern talent management (especially talent analytics) in Europe

2) Development of a tool box for modern talent management in SMEs with a collection of instruments and tools, their embedding in the process of talent management, potentials for SMEs, pros and cons

3) Development and implementation of a transnational learning, teaching and training activity for the methods / instruments presented in the talent management toolbox

AROMA - Augmented Reality in Business Development

The objective for the AROMA project is to create a:
"Digital Training Toolbox for Entrepreneurial Training in Augmented Reality".

The aim of this Erasmus+ Project called AROMA (Digital Training Toolbox for Entrepreneurial Training in Augmented Reality) is to develop a novel trainers toolbox by which VET Trainers can attract and reach out to learners to motivate them on exploiting augmented reality (AR) in business scenarios.

AROMA is co-funded by the Erasmus program and 8 partners from 7 member state countries are involved in the project. The Kick-Off meeting was held in Malta in November 2017 and the project will last until February 2019.

WAMDIA - We all make Digital Information accessible

Digital accessibility in Europe is now the spotlight after the approval in 2016 of the New EU directive 2016/2102.
Traditionally, ICT users think that digital accessibility is only a task for ICT professionals when designing and implementing websites and mobile apps. They also think this is something for very specific people with disability.

WAMDIA wants to change the mindset of traditional ICT users: everybody can contribute to accessibility of digital information by ensuring that common files that one can create are accessible: word processor, presentations or pdf files are example. Even more, the importance is better perceived when considering that the best accessible website is useless if only a single uploaded file is not accessible.
WAMDIA will enable that general ICT users make digital information accessible

ROTENA,  Robotics - Training for the New Age

This EU funded Project (October 2016 - September 2018) aims to use the motivational effects of robotics (including AI (Artificial Intelligence)) and 3D printing to excite students (particularly young people) about science and to develop programmes to enable them to engage in the "New Age Technology” revolution.

For many SMEs - the future competitiveness depends on the skills they can acquire and the new Business Models they can develop based on 3D, AI and robotics.

REAL - Reinforcing Entrepreneurship in Adult Learning

REAL - "Reinforcing Entrepreneurship in Adult Learning" is a project aiming at providing teachers and students tools to implement Entrepreneurship in training and education.
The partnership consists of 10 partners from 8 countries 
with USAK University from Turkey as coordinator.
SMEBOX is responsible for producing animated and other videos as well as content in Business Modelling and Entrepreneurship.

LEXSHA - Learning-Sharing-Exploring

LEXSHA -  In this project we created a platform there entrepreneurs can share knowledge across business domains and country borders. If you want to share a knowledge - just visit the site and upload your video, e-book or other knowledge product - that we call "LEXSHA".
SMEBOX created instructional videos in how to design and add content to a LEXSHA in the shape of an e-Book, Slide presentation,  or a Video.

BizLearnNet was the base for above described LEXSHA. In BizLearnNet the focus was on knowledge sharing - in a face to face situation. If you want to produce a LEXSHA - you could benefit from learning more about planning your knowledge sharing in BizLearnNet.
In BizLearnNet we worked a lot to understand and to make clear the motivation to share your knowledge with others - and why entrepreneurs can benefit from sharing instead of keeping knowledge a secret.
